Atlanta is the hub for both Delta and Airtrans airlines. Many churches are able to find the most affordable airfare on one of these two airlines, but most major airlines fly into the Atlanta airport.
If you choose to fly to Atlanta, you have several options for transportation once you get to the city.
- Your group can choose to rent vans at the airport to get around the city while you are with us.
- Your group can choose to ride completely on public transportation while you are with us. We will meet you at the airport with your Marta cards and get you to the church and then you will use your week long pass to travel to your service sites and free night activities. The extra cost to be on all public transportation is $20 per person.
You will fly into the Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson Airport
Coming to Atlanta by car or van
Many groups choose to travel to Atlanta by car or van. Central Presbyterian Church does not have a parking lot. If your group is coming during the summer, you will have to pay $5-$8 to park your vehicle(s) in a lot across the street from the church. We do our best to insure that you do not have to take your vehicle out of the lot more than once a day.
