Danielle Miller to Conclude Service with DOOR
A longtime Discovering Opportunities for Outreach and Reflection (DOOR) staff member, Danielle Miller, has announced that she will conclude her service with DOOR at the end of July.
In her 10 years with DOOR, Miller has served as DOOR San Antonio City Director. As San Antonio City Director, Miller oversaw the weeklong Discover program, hosting an average of 380 youth and college service participants per year. She guided 39 young adults through the yearlong Dwell program, helping them discern God’s call in their lives. Miller also worked with 76 Discern summer staff participants, most of them local young adults, and helped them develop leadership skills to speak for their faith and communities.
In reflecting on her time at DOOR, Miller rejoiced in “the summer staff over the years which has been made up of some of the greatest young adults this city has produced; the many agencies we have worked with; the connection with local churches and leaders; many of the Dwell/YAV participants; and many co-workers who have come and gone.”
DOOR thanks Miller for her years of dedicated service and wishes her well in her next venture, a teaching position in San Antonio.
